Kim Kardashian has lately been losing more fans than she can count. The reality TV star recently announced she was ending her 72-day marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries, leading fans to feel the whole wedding was a TV gimmick. While Kim has insisted she married for love, she has few believers. Her wedding is said to have got 10.5 million viewers tuning in.
An anti-Kardashian petition demanding the E! network to stop airing the family's reality show has been doing the rounds. Named as the 'No More Kardashian' petition and started barely two weeks ago, it has already generated 100000 signatures.
Cyndy Snider who began the petition said, "These shows are mostly staged and place an emphasis on vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption. We are respectfully requesting that your network [E!] find other shows to air. Keeping up with the Kardashians' is just not viewing that we the public, would like to see from your network. Enough is enough." While the network hasn't commented on this matter, they still plan to go ahead with screening Kourtney and Kim Take New York on November 27.
